New Indies Rock Video - I am now a Tokyo Giants Fan!!!
Hello Asian TV Tube Happys,
GENKI DESU KA? (Literal translation: "Are you invigorated?") Well, actually I'm pretty tired of from all the heat and humidity this summer. YOWZA! This month has just been SO UNREAL!!!!
Also, last night I went with some of my Japanese friends to the Tokyo Dome to see the Tokyo Giants - Yokohama Bay Stars baseball game and the Giants won 4-0 so, of course, that called for a GRAND CELEBRATION!!!! And that was held somewhere near the Tokyo Dome and I didn't get home until about 10+ drinks later!?!?!? Needless to say my Japanese baseball buddies are lifelong Giants fans and, believe me, they know how to celebrate a Giants win for sure! OH YEAH!!! We all had a really a great night last night and my friends told me in the post-game party that I am now an "Offical" Tokyo Giants fan:
So, obviously, now I have to get a new uniform and a BLACK helmet this time and no more clowning around as some kind of crazy, colorful clown et al. No way. Hardcore Tokyo Giants fans like my friends here are VERY SERIOUS and they expect me to be so too! Really, its true, but I got this one already figured out. And I am now cooking up a new plan to become THE ULTIMATE Giants fan! This involves the well-used Pongi Orange Blazer Jacket, a black "TG" batting helmet, black "Elvis" sunglasses, one Japanese national flag on the left side of the helmet and one Tokyo Giants flag on the right. And, maybe, this new "uniform" will also include a large Tokyo Giants flag as a cape too, but not sure about that one yet. It is possible that could be seen as some kind of sacrilegious act of defilement or betrayal et al so I'll have to check that one out soon. I've been told that just like with the New York Yankees, there are many "RULES" involved with everyone associated with the Tokyo Giants! HOLY SHINTO!!!
Anyway, despite the morning hangover and everything else that I had to do today, I did manage to discover yet another very cool Japanese indies rock band known as Lego Big Morl and their new single release promo video! So please check out it out here:

And apparently Lego Big Morl (aka "Lego") just formed a few years ago in Osaka and since then they have become very well known and well liked by many fans here. There have appeared on several local and national TV shows many times and just recently they jammed the Summer Sonic 09 festival in both Tokyo and Osaka. So, for sure, yours truly will be following this indies rock band very closely from now on so stay tuned!

The Great Happiness Space documentary film about the Osaka host bar was removed from YouTube as I knew it would be. But don't worry as another friend of mine here told me that he made "backups" so you never know where it could pop up again in the near future!!! So be sure to stay tuned to your Asian TV Tube
